Driver Training (Behind-the-Wheel)

This program consists of 6 hours of behind-the-wheel for the basic course. These lessons are for students who have completed Driver Education. You must possess, and produce for Marks Driving School, the DMV Provisional Instruction Permit. These lessons are divided into three(3)- two hour drives. Your first lesson with Marks Driving School will validate the student's permit to allow him/her to start practicing at home under the supervision of a California licensed driver 25 years of age or older. We will schedule all three lessons when you call to assure you a planned, progressive schedule for completion.
DMV requires a minimum of an additional 50 hours of instruction, 10 of which must be at night, with parents.

• Our cars are late model and easy to drive. They have air conditioning, automatic transmissions, dual controls, are fully insured and pass an annual DMV safety inspection. Our cars are marked for your safety.
• We offer free pick up at home, school or place of employment by appointment. Our service area is the Western Slope of El Dorado County including El Dorado Hills.
• Lessons are available 7 days a week by appointment.
• DMV Test Car Available - DMV Test Preparation.
• We give emphasis to Defensive-Decision driving.
• Adult and Senior brush-up programs.
• We are an approved vendor for Horizon Instructional Services.
• We are an approved contractor with the California Department of Rehabilitation and the El Dorado County Department of Social Services.
